Experimental Study on Durability of Recycled Concrete
Utilizing desert concrete to make recycle concrete can reduce the consumption of natural resources, occupancy of cultivable land and environmental pollution. In this dissertation, durability of concrete which made of simply crushed recycled aggregate (RA) , particle shaped RA and normal aggregate are compared by shrinkage test, chloride penetration test, carbonation test and free-thaw test.The results show that particle shaped technique not only can be used to make.high quality RA and improve the durability of recycled concrete, but also provide basic experimental data on developing the application of recycled concrete.
