Optimizing Sequential Imperfect Preventive Maintenance for Equipment in Life Cycle
This paper presents sequential imperfect preventive maintenance of degradation equipment. Two activities, continuous preventive maintenance and minimal maintenance, are simultaneously considered to arrange the PM schedule. Aiming to obtain the maximal benefit, an optimal policy research model in life cycle is presented based on hazard constraints. With regard to the maintenance quality, it is usually difficult to specify. This problem is tackled in this paper by assuming that the reduction factor is a random variable following a probability distribution grounded on experts estimate. It perfectly describes the change of PM quality along time.
