Inspection Optimal Model of a Two-Component Parallel System with Failure Dependence
The staggered inspection policy is adapted to a two-component parallel system with failure dependence in order to enhance the system reliability. Firstly the characteristic of the system failure is analyzed, and obtains the probabilities of corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance and preventive replacement. Further, considering the different cost of different maintenance, die inspection optimal model of a two-component parallel system with failure dependence is provided to minimize the system mean maintenance cost rate. Finally, an example is analyzed in detail for the model and the result shows mat the model is logical.
