Optimal Detection and Localization within Fault Diagnosis of the Complex Maintainable System

The main part of maintenance time is the time for detecting and localizing the fault components. This paper starts with the research of fault diagnosis, by establishing a model for monitoring objects, probes into some way to localize the faults, then sums up the steps of diagnosing process and determines the optimized rules in order to seek the optimal routes to localize fault, and describes the application of the fault detection on repairable monitored systems combined with the real instance. Through exploring basically, the aim of the paper is to provide some approaches of detecting and localizing faults quickly oriented to the complex repairable systems, so as to increase the working efficiency of fault diagnosis, and achieve the goal of enhancing availability while reducing downtime.
