A Study of Fault Diagnoses of Gearbox Based on Frequency Response Function
A study on how to improve the accuracy of the diagnoses of gearbox is done in this paper and a new method has been developed with the help of the frequency response functions between the excite sites and the responding sites. With measured frequency response function matrix, the attenuation effect caused by travel passages between components within gearboxes and accelerometers attached on the gearboxes can be largely reduced.To verify the proposed method in this paper, several experiments have been done with a gearbox. The proposed method was applied to process data obtained from the faults seeded gearbox and diagnosis was done based on that The experiment results proved that this method is useful for fault diagnoses of gearboxes
