Prediction of Digital Remanufacturing Machine Tools Position Precision Based on Evaluation of Uncertainty
Improving the position precision is a key goal to remanufacture old machine tools. It is related to the properly choosing of the precision of the part, which is to be maintained or replaced According to the precision of selected parts, this paper adopts Type B evaluation of uncertainty to predict the position precision of digital remanufacturing machine tools. Based on the typical servo feeding mechanical system, the formulas of uncertainty and combined uncertainty were presented, and the software of prediction was also developed. Analysis and calculation have been made in combination with actual example, and the results are compared with that from the experiment. It shows that this method is feasible.
