Reliability Model of Component under Stochastic Ally Repeated Load
The effect of times of load action on component reliability is studied and time-dependent reliability model is built in mis paper. The conventional reliability models for mechanical component and system based on the stress-strength interference theory can only express the probability of the strength exceeding the stress and cant reflect the effect of times of loading on the reliability. In fact, it is the reliability when stochastic load acts on component only once. The practical situation is that stochastic load acting on mechanical components and systems is usually repetitious. Neglecting the effect of the times of load action will cause an error when evaluating reliability. This article first studies the distribution function of equivalent load with load acting for many times and then develops the reliability model with load acting for many times according to the stress-strength interference theory. Finally, time-dependent reliability model for component is built when the acting process of stochastic load following a homogeneous Poisson Process. It is useful for making the reasonable maintenance schedule.
