Ammunition Storage Reliability Analysis Based on Accelerated Life Testing

On the basis of the brief introduction of the principle of the stepping stress accelerated life testing, failure mechanism analysis and simulation test of a certain kind of ammunition, the test stress and stress level for the stepping stress accelerated life testing of the ammunition can be determined , and the important conclusion that the ammunition failure mechanism keeps invariant tinder the stress level in the temperature of 80 oC is drawn. Through the statistical analysis of the result of the ammunition stepping stress accelerated Me testing, the data processing mathematical model and storage life forecasting method are established, and the relation between ammunition storage reliability and storage life is obtained. At last, according to the practical application, the ammunition storage reliability index is calculated, namely, with 90% of confidence level the ammunition can be stored for 21 years under normal stress level with the storage reliability degree not lower than 0.95.
