The Research on the Technology of Polylactic Acid Fiber Sirospun Yarns
This paper investigated the technology of fiber Sirospun yarns by changing the roving gage, roving twist coefficient and back drafting multiple. It also analyzed during different spinning processes, the changing patterns of the index of yarns such as breaking strength, fuzzy fiber and yarn evenness. By adopting the same roving twist coefficient and yarn drafting technology, the 23. 9 Tex polylactic acid ring spun and Sirospun yarns were produced, moreover, their breaking strength, fuzzy and yarn evenness distribution were compared. The results revealed that the breaking strength of Sirospun and ring spun polylactic acid yarns were both belong to Gaussian distribution yet the difference was remarkable: the former was stronger than the latter. Compared with ring spun polylactic acid yarn, the fuzzy fiber of Sirospun yarn was significantly reduced while the difference of yarn evenness was not obvious.
