Study of Metallisation on Textile Fabrics

摘要：

Metallising can be used for improving functional properties of textile fabrics. Nowadays, it has been recognised as a creating approach through contact with new interpretation of textile design. Four metallising methods namely vacuum deposition, sputtering, electroplating and chemical plating are involved in the present study. This paper contains comprehensive information of metallising treatment technology with reference to the functional properties. Metallised textiles have been developed for specific performance of functional properties as well as decorative effect.
