A Study on the Silk Surface Modification with CF4 LT-Plasma
Silk surface modification was carried out with CF4 low temperature plasma. Water contact angle of the CF4 plasma treated silk fabric reached 140° The morphological construction of the treated surfaces has been examined by SEM and surface chemical changes characterized by FTIR and EDS. The results revealed that F-contained groups(C-F) had been grafted on surface of silk fabric. The TGA results showed that the heat stability of the modified silk was improved.
