Study on Complex Corlorfastness to Light and Perspiration for Textile and Apparel
Dyes with good complex colorfastness to light and perspiration are requested frequently by distributors in the recent global textile and apparel business. However, obvious differences could be found among the current test methods, including GB/T 14576, SN/T 1461, JIS L0888, ATTS and MIZUNO, AATCC 125 and so on. In this paper, the colorfastness of 16 series of reactive dyes to light and perspiration was measured according to these test methods. Their differences in colorfastness ratings were analyzed. Based on marketing investigation, the technical specification and the corresponding limit values on the complex colorfastness were defined for textile and apparel products.
