Research on Design and Performance of New Multi-component Fabrics
In order to make better use of new fibers to design fabrics and meet the need of fabrics with multiplex properties, we have developed seven series of fabric through interweaving. The new multi-component fabrics use excellent new fibres such as PTT, hygroscopic polyester, ultrafine polyester, Tencel, Modal as weft yarns, and common polyester as warp yarns. Comprehensive dressing performance tests show that the new multi-component fabrics have good strength, light and cool, nice moisture absorption. Exception some fabrics, all have fine comfort with good air transportation, beautiful appearance for kind drape and good crease resistance. The performance research of new multi-component fabrics can provide some suggestion for new fabric developing, so it is meaningful.
