Outlook on E-Textiles
Many literatures and news related to wearable computer, electronic textiles and smart textiles have recently reported. In this paper, the author adopts E-Textiles (electronic textiles) among these three kinds of concepts) and tries to overlook on the developmental activities related to E-Textiles in the world. In the first part, definition, history and feature analyses are given to E-Textiles. In the second and third parts, its application fields / market and its activities by R &D field are analyzed based on about 100 materials of literature and news. In the fourth part, remarkable trends and technologies are introduced by 9 items.
