The Mechanical and Making-up Properties of Stretch Fabrics
Stretch materials are getting more widely used in clothing industry. The stretch fabrics are now very popular in sports wear garment. But the stretch fabrics have some problem due to fabric mechanical properties on the garment manufacturing process according to literature issued in Japan. This paper surveys the mechanical and making up properties of stretch fabrics made in Korea. The formability of these stretch fabrics between KES-FB and FAST systems is compared and discussed with other functional fabrics, and predicts the manufacturing conditions for the making up of stretch fabrics.
