Main Requirements for Fabrics and Apparels Import into China

As one of the largest consumer markets, China imports a great deal of fabrics and apparels and the quantity is increasing every year. But many products have to return merchandise, because the qualities of the import fabrics and apparels cant meet the requirements of Chinese standards. Especially, in the items of safety technical specification such as the pH value, colorfastness, etc. , and the fibre content label, their proportions of rejects are higher than others. In this paper, the main standards related to fabrics and apparels of China are introduced. It will facilitate oversea importers to fully understand these requirements for fabrics and apparels import into China.
