Heat and Moisture Transfer through the Multi-layer Garment
A series of hiemal clothing assemblies trials have been conducted on perspiring fabric thermal manikin at two levels of environment temperature and relative humidity (20℃, 65%and 10℃, 40%). The trials revealed that perspiration rate became larger and moisture vapour resistance became smaller at 10℃, 40%RH. The thermal insulation remained changeless or became larger as the ambient humidity and temperature decreased.
