The Structure and Mechanical Performances of Hose Reinforced with Warp Knitted Fabric

A new process of the rubber hose with a warp knitted fabric forming is introduced. The relation between inside pressure and expansion ratio of four kinds of radiator hose reinforced with the fabric is tested. A new model is built up to analyses the relations between structures of the fabric and mechanical performance of the hose. The result shows that the bursting pressure of the hose can be increased to 1. IMPa, and the radial direction expansion ratio of the hose is less than 15% under the 0. 5MPa inside pressure. Tthose value has achieved the requirement of ISO4081 for auto radiator hose.
