HIGH-SPEED VERSATILE OPTICAL MODULATOR (Invited Paper)

This paper describes high-speed versatile optical modulators for advanced modulation formats, such as differential quadrature-phase-shift-keying (DQPSK), frequency-shift-keying (FSK), etc. High-speed optical DQPSK modulation was demonstrated by using the modulator consisting of four phase modulators.
