CROSSTALK CHARACTERISTIC OF ARRAYED WAVEGUIDE GRATING DEMULTIPLEXER

摘要：

Based on the expression of the normalized simple spectral response efficiency of arrayed waveguide grating demultiplexer, the simple crosstalk characteristic of arrayed waveguide grating demultiplexer is presented. As the spectral distribution of the input optical signal source is considered, the Gaussian approximation distribution for example, the actual crosstalk characteristic of arrayed waveguide grating demultiplexer is suggested. A computing example is introduced for showing the influence of spectral width of the input optical signal and the arrayed waveguides number on the actual crosstalk between adjacent signal channels of arrayed waveguide grating demultiplexer .
