The research of electro-optical phase modulation by polymers AWG with push-pull configuration

Based on the spectral response,the grating equation and the characteristics of the polymer Arrayed waveguide grating(AWG),its modulation theory and the factro-optic modulators with single push-pull configuration and double push-pull configuration.The experimental results of the two kinds of electro-optic modulators without push-pull configuration and with push-pull configuration are simulated by the BMP software and show that the spectrum tuning range of the fomer is 5nm of so by varying the AWG with single push-pull configuration is 10nm of so,and much wider trning ranges can be obtained,over 20nm,with double push-pull configuration.
