LAGRANGIAN APPROACH TO THE THEORY OF DISSIPATIVE SOLITONS WITH APPLICATIONS TO OPTICAL TRANSMISSION LINES

We show that we can find exact solutions of the complex Ginzburg-Landau equation(CGLE)by minimizing α real-valued Lagrangian when we vary solution parameters. This equation has numerous uses in optical soliton transmission studies. One of the practical consequences of our approach is that on optical transmission link based on dissipative solitons minimizes has clear advantages when compared with links based on linear pulses.
