160Gbit/s/port Optical Packet Switch Prototype and Related Technologies

A 160Gbit/s/port optical packet switch prototype with narrow-band all-optical code-label processing, optical switching, high-extinction-ratio optical buffering, electrical scheduling, optical MUX/DEMUX is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. As related technologies, a novel variable-length packet BER and loss real-time measuring system and burst-mode optical packet 3R receiver are also proposed and experimentally demonstrated.
