INVESTIGATION ON RPR SURVIVABILITY BASE ON MATHEMATICAL MODEL AND SIMULATION

摘要：

In this paper, we use a new mathematical model to investigate the survivability of Resilient Packet Ring network. Base on throughput analysis before and after the failure, we evaluated the performance of three protection mechanisms, one of which named C-Steering is put forward by us. And we have verified the validity of the mathematical model by an OPNET model.
