Motivating Activities in Teaching Oral English to Non-English Majors

Motivation is one of the main determinants of second/foreign language (L2) learning achievements. Therefore, English teachers should pay full attention to students classroom behaviors and take measures to enhance their motive to learn in oral English class. These measures include: set attainable goal for students; better the classroom environment; offer challenging extra-curriculum activities; invite positive feedback.
