On the Cost of Technological Learning from a Perspective of Learning Barriers
the problem about barriers of technological learning is essentially around the learning cost. The barriers of technological learning consist of technological protection, transactional gap and attribute, and management. While these barriers have been overcoming, learning costs such as technology price, transactional cost, opportunity cost of human resources, and overhead expenses of technology, will occur. Merger & Acquisition is a effective way to get over the learning barriers of technology. How much a firm under special circumstances can assume cost determines how large a technological gap can be successfully bridged through technological learning.
