Link-level Scheduling for Providing QoS in WPAN
IEEE 802.15.3 high-rate Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN) has been emerged in order to support Quality of Service (QoS) for real-time multimedia traffic and high data rate wireless connectivity. In IEEE 802.15.3 MAC, TDMA is used to achieve channel scheduling. Its a crucial issue to effectively allocate channel time for each stream during every superframe for multimedia services. This paper proposes a practical dynamic link-level scheduling scheme based on traditional control feedback theory analysis. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme exhibits good performance in terms of Job Failure Rate (JFR) and throughput.
