5.2GHz CMOS Narrow-Band Optical Receiver for Radio-Over-Fiber
This paper presents a 5.2GHz narrow-band optical receiver for radio-over-fiber applications. The receiver consists of a photodiode, matching network and a preamplifier in a 0.18um CMOS process. The analysis and simulation results show that the optoelectronic conversion gain and the input equivalent noise current of the receiver are 56.629dBV/W and 6.875pA/(√Hz) respectively, P1dB>0dBm and ⅡP3>5dBm.
