A 2-Way Broad-Band Microstrip Matched Power Divider
Broad-band technique for an equal amplitude microstrip matched power divider is described in this paper. The symmetry of this circuit which is obtained by Wilkinsons power divider allows the use of the method of odd- and evenmode excitations of the output ports and the use of exponential asymptotes provides multi-octave bandwidth. We discuss the frequency band of 2-13.5 GHz and 3-18 GHz in this paper. It can achieve good input VSWR and insertion losses over a broad bandwidth by two experiments with ADS.
