ELECTRONIC COMMERCE AND CREDIT
Electronic commerce is a new commercial transaction way. Its rapid development relies on the trust among the users. Credit is the key to develop electronic commerce. But in China,the present situation of credit is not very good. Lack of credit has become the biggest obstacle of developing electronic commerce in China. So setting up mechanisms of generating trust has become more and more important. This study analyses the characteristics of electronic commerce and the reasons of lacking credit in China. Finally the study considers how to generate greater trust and to attract people currently reluctant to make online purchase or sell.
