E-COMMERCE BASED AGRICULTURE INSURANCE PROFIT-MAKING MODEL: XINJIANG PRODUCTION AND CONSTRUCTION CORPS CASE STUDY
China Central Government issued the No. 1 document in 2004. emphasizing the importance of establishing policy - oriented agriculture insurance company to ensure fanners risk dilution and their income increase. Though our country launched a pilot agriculture insurance program as early as in 1930s, it scarcely achieved any success, and it is shrinking in the last decade. Therefore, the research of agriculture insurance mainly focuses on the market failure and the specific implementation institution model. This paper may be the first to explore the E-commerce based agriculture insurance profit-making model, which suggests establishing an E-commerce platform of agriculture insurance to realize effi cient data management and group auction on the web.
