Sediment Dredging Engineering For Eutrophication Control in Lake

摘要：

The sediment engineering was conducted for eutrophication control in the NanHu lake of Changchun, P.R. China in 2000. After two years in sediment engineering, the total sediment has been completed 60％. The water quality turned better, the TN and TP concentration in lake water was decreased, the phytoplankton density reduced, the biomass of phytoplanktoo and chloropbyll was also dropped significantly. Bat the dominant species of phytoplankton still was the indicator species of eutrophication.The dredging engineering combined with ecological engineering is an ideal method for eutrophication control in urban laks.
