Specifying the River Bed Configuration by Modern Surveying Techniques

The riverbed surveying is needed in new hydraulic engineering project (e.g. hydropower plant) or in the maintenance dredging. The data of the bed topography can be used the raw data for the numerical flow models. The numerical flow models can simulate me hydraulic losses in the river and the dredging needs can be specified. In the maintenance, the real-time display shows immediately the areas for the need for the dredging. The data can be processed, the masses can be calculated and the costs are estimated. The river/channel profile can be measured alter the dredging and the design depths can be verified.
