The Development of Dredging Pumps for dredgers in China
The paper described the development and state-of-the-art of dredging pumps for dredgers in China. It also deals with the new constructions of dredging pumps developed in recent years.The paper presented also authors opinion on the relationship between pump efficiency and suction capacity. It is suggested that by today as pump efficiency has been improved to present higher degree, attention shall be more given to the study and further improving of pump suction capacity, so as to increase further pump efficiency and dredging economy.The paper set forth also how to decide pump working range and pomp power rating.
