Application of Dyke Fortification through Silt-pumping in Yellow River Dyke Reinforcement Project

摘要：

Since dyke fortification through silt-pumping (DFSP) was first introduced by The First Yellow Rtver Management Bureau, Wuzhi County, Henan Province in 1991, it has been applied extensively in Yellow River dyke reinforcement projectt. Based on the experience of the authors, the application of booster ptunp in long-distance sand transportation of Yellow River is described. Equipment wear and tear and pipe material selection are also discussed.
