Energy Balance Model and Methods of the Ecotypic Orchard with Biogas Digester As a Link
A new model of energy balance and a way of energy calculation and analysis about the ecological orchard system are presented in this paper, and the energy balance of ecological pigsty, biogas (i.e. methane) digester and orchard subsystem in mid region of China are studied. The results show that the total output energy of the system is 238964 MJ/a, in which the apple biological energy is 79.43%, pork biological energy is 14.12%, biogas energy is 6.36%. The total input energy is 60197.1 MJ/a (except solar energy), in which industrial subsidiary energy is 9.55%, fodder biological energy is 92.91%, and the others is manpower input energy. The total input solar energy is 12.76 × 106 MJ/a and in solar energy conversion efficiency is 0.14% . The energy source composition, energy distribution, energy stream and energy utilization efficiency in the orchard system are studied. The feasibility of ecological orchard mode is analyzed from the point of energy economical technology, which has important realistic significances for directing the construction of rural energy ecological system and developing of rural economy in mid region of China.
