A Class of Hybrid Strategy for Adaptive IIR Filter Design

Reasonably combining the parallel search ability of genetic algorithm with the controllable jumping property of simulated annealing, a class of effective hybrid optimization strategy with the operators and parameters well designed is proposed for designing adaptive IIR filter in this paper. Simulation results based on benchmarks and comparisons with the least-mean-square (LMS) algorithm, pure genetic algorithm and simulated annealing demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed hybrid strategy.
