Intranet Ballistic Image Database

摘要：

Matching a cartridge to a weapon is essential to solving many violent crimes Computerised ballistic identification system like Intranet Fireball can be used to streamline the process and increase the efficiency and accuracy In this paper we describe this practical approach to extend its desktop system FIREBALL to Intranet application by using Intranet database and programming mechanism. It is INTRANET FIREBALL research s goal to develop an integrated and secured Intranet ballistic system so that the historical data and images are sharable and accessed from any desire location, such as a re-mote police station or a courtroom. The Intranet Fireball provides an Intranet ballistic image database application by using new technologies currently available.
