Efficacy of Acupuncture and Moxibustion for the treatment of Primary Dysmenorrhea: a mini review

　　Primary dysmenorrhea (PD) is a common gynecological disease with the most common cause of pelvic pain,characterized by spastic pain in the lower abdomen or lumbar region before or during the menstrual period.The paper mainly describesthat the introduction of Primary Dysmenorrhea,epidemiology of Primary Dysmenorrhea,pathogenesis of Primary Dysmenorrhea and acupuncture for Primary Dysmenorrhea,prominenting the Chinese medicine,acupuncture,massage and other traditional Chinese medicine therapy,especially acupuncture,haing a better therapeutic effect on primary dysmenorrhea.
