Correlation between Aurora-A expression and the prognosis of Uighur cervical squamous cell carcinoma(CSCC) patients treated with primary definitive radiation(RT)
BACKGROUND:For primary radical radiation therapy for untreated primary cervical squamous cell carcinoma(CSCC),advanced stage, lymph node metastasis, and large tumor size are important risk factors for recurrence and overall survival. However, molecular markers for recurrence and overall survival are still lacking.METHODS:We performed a retrospective review of our experience using definitive radiation(RT).In our study we enrolled 98 women, diagnosed with FIGO stage ⅡA to ⅢB CSCC in the period 2009.1-2012.12.Aurora kinase A (Aurora-A,AURKA) using immunohistochemistry (IHC).
