A Systematic Approach to Enhance the Students” Practical Abilities and Engagement in Undergraduate Education

  In this work, a systematic approach to enhance the develop students”practical abilities and engagement in undergraduate education is discussed.A conceptual framework for organizing and executing three-level-industry-associated practice education system, i.e., course-level, major-level, and industry-level, is presented.Successful examples for the practice education system carried out in Ningbo Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University, have been presented in detail.Overall, a student-centered environment is proposed which aims to cultivate the students” practical abilities and individual talent.
