An Integrative Review of Research Concerning Transitional Relationship between Public Relations Practitioners and Journalists

　　This paper conducts an integrative review of current research concerning transitional relationships between public relations practitioners and journalists.It identifies the conceptualization of journalist-practitioner relationship, major research topics, methodologies,and empirical findings based on forty-six SSCI articles selected from Jan 1990 to Dec 2013.Most importantly, this paper concludes the determining factors of the transitional relationship based on the previous literature from both macro-level and micro-level.Finally, it discusses the current issues and gives suggestions for future research.
