Research on Surface Subsidence of Solid Backfilling Mining by Numerical Simulation

  Waste backfilling fully-mechanized coal mining technology can control surface subsidence effectively, but it also damage the surface to different degrees, in order to protect the surface buildings, it is necessary to predict the surface subsidence after backfilling mining.With one mining coal face, the equivalent mining thickness with the nature of backfilling material and backfilling technology was calculated, the surface subsidence of solid backfilling mining were predicted by the”equivalent mining thickness” method and FLAC3D and Tecplot software.Based on the simulation results, precisions of the two methods were compared and analyzed, the study results shows that the”equivalent mining thickness” method is a efficient and simple way to predict surface subsidence of solid backfilling mining.
