RESEARCH TAIL CURRENT OF TPY CT USED ON BFP PROTECTION IN INTELLIGENT STATION
The scheme of merge unit plus conventional transformers is usually used in intelligent station.But this kind of configuration will result the dead zone in maintenance or the dead zone when breaker failure happens.One of method to solve this problem is to injecting TPY CT winding into breaker failure protection device.But the tailing current of TPY winding is more serious,then it will affect to the criterion of breaker failure protection.This paper mainly explain the reason of TPY winding tailing current,and analyzes its characteristics,and then propose a filtering algorithm for breaker failure protection.According the simulation,the paper gives some advice in settings.This paper gives a reference for analysis of TPY CT winding injected into breaker failure protection device.
