Condition-Based Assessment Technology of Relay Protection in Smart Substation
Information technology of digital relay protection makes protective devices themselves strong functions of self-checking.At the same time,it helps to remove the obstacles in regards to collecting characteristic quantity of secondary circuit.In this paper,condition-based assessment questions of relay protection in smart substation were discussed in two respects: protection devices and secondary circuit.Then,the status information of each protection device was ranked and generalized.Thus,suggestions about maintenance were put out from the term of quantitative management.In addition,this paper discussed online monitoring technology of secondary circuit from the standpoint of logical and physical link,which were joint together for practical use.In the end,specific implementation related to the condition-based maintenance of relay protection in smart substation was subsequently explored.
