Confucianism, East Asian Renaissance and South Asian Countries
This essay will highlight the recent East Asian socio-economic renaissance and the snow balling process of connected economic re-generation in South East and South Asia.The essay will also discussed Confucian philosophy and its impact on East Asian countries and the early developments of interactions and engagements between the countries of the geographical area known as East and Southeast Asia.Religious Missionaries, Philosophers, Warriors, Writers, Historians, Rulers, Travelers and the Adventurers had played a significant role in shaping and sharpening a distinct eastern civilization embedded with Asian values, oriental wisdom and harmonious family formation pattern and mindset.Diplomats, Joumalists history making travelers had also helped greatly in identifying the common characteristics of Asian countries and help integrate them as Asianism.This is how an atmosphere of mutual understanding and cordial relationship between the countries of the East and Southeast Asia grew.A case in point is the great sixth century Chinese philosopher Confucius (551-479 BCE), seventh century history making traveler Hsuan Tsang, Fa Hsien and others had an immense and far reaching impact on South Asian countries.Chinese primordial and imperial Confucian philosophy and its metamorphosis over the centuries, and struggling existence side by side with other philosophical and socio-political theories of modern times have been discussed and debated intensely by contemporary analysts in China and other intellectual forums elsewhere.
