The Assessment of Implementing Net Metering (NM) and Virtual Net Metering (VNM) for Photovoltaic (PV) Power Sharing
Photovoltaic (PV) systems, as one of power supplies utilizing renewable resources,has been employed globally.Lots of researchesfocusing onimprovingthe performance of power generationcapability of PV systems have been done and many are still ongoing.In the meanwhile, how to share PV generation is another research interest to spread utilization of friendly environmental power in residential building.This paper will introduce two protocols of PV generation sharing employed widely in US and compare someessentialsof these two solar programs.
