Research of the Bolted Joints Tightening Torque Calculation Method of the Subframe
In the paper,taking the bolted joints tightening torque between the subframe the low control arm as an example,the calculation method for determining the bolted joints tightening torque has been researched.In the paper,the bolted joints tightening torque can be divided into two parts,the one part is used to eliminate the gap between the connections,and another part is used to pre-vent the sliding between the connections under the action of external load.In the paper,the two parts of torque calculation method have been carried on the detailed elaboration,and the strength of the bolts has been checked.Finally,in accordance with the selected bolt type and target torque,test verification has been carried out.Therefore,the calculation method of this paper can give priority to the OEM to provide the reference for computation of the bolted joints tightening torque.
