A Study on Engineering Realization of Traffic Sign Recognition Using SVM

摘要：

　　Traffic sign recognition(TSR)is a part of intelligent vehicle.In order to achieve TSR,support vector machine(SVM)is used in this paper.The paper shows a complete process of applying SVM to TSR,and focuses on application prob-lems.Methods to select HOG feature,kernel type and Gaussian kernel parameter in SVM are discussed.And experimental result shows that the proposed application method is very effective.
