Investigation about the Influence of Fuel Injection Strategy on Particle Emission Performance of TGDI Engines Based on Dynamometer Test
In this work, the investigation of the influence of fuel injection timing and fuel pressure on particle emission performance of two turbocharged gasoline direct injection(TGDI)engines in the conditions of low loads at different engine speeds was conducted. At the operating conditions of low engine speed, advanced injection timing and higher fuel pressure increase the particle emissions. At the operating conditions of high engine speed, retarded injection timing and lower fuel pressure increase the particle emissions. The contrast of particle emission performance between different gasoline engines with different fuel injection strategies based on engine dynamometer test was conducted. The results indicated that the triple injection strategy improves the particle emission performance of gasoline engines. However, for different type of engine, the effect of triple injection strategy is different.
